Community Services Coventry Wellbeing Hub
Open daily at Wellington Gardens, Windsor Street between 1pm and 5pm to anyone who wants a safe, supportive space where they can access information, a listening ear and receive peer support.
Individually tailored support delivered in people’s own homes to enable them to maintain their independence through the development/maintenance of daily living skills whilst at the same time ensuring that their mental health needs are being addressed. Available to individuals known to Community Mental Health Services.
Providing fully furnished, supported accommodation, both single and shared throughout the Coventry area, to enable individuals to maintain their tenancy and live independently in the community.
Intensive Recovery Support Service
Intensive recovery focused support to individuals experiencing crisis or where their emotional wellbeing and mental health means they require a higher level of support to enable them to live in the community. Care co-ordinators will be responsible for ensuring that a funding package is in place to support a referral before a client can be accepted.
Pathways Day Services Coventry
One to one support Up to 8 sessions of 1:1 support for people experiencing an emotionally difficult time in their lives to identify the causes and explore ways to make positive changes. This could include practical problem solving, self-help strategies, action planning, or support to identify more specialist or in-depth services. Recovery & development groups & workshops A wide range of workshops and short courses which aim to help people develop better resilience skills and to support their journey to recovery. Topics include:
- Coping with Depression
- Improving Confidence & Self-Esteem
- Anger Management
- Sleep Problems
- Anxiety Management & Relaxation (this course is also available in Nuneaton & Bedworth)
- Why not fundraise or volunteer for C&W Mind?
Up to 6 sessions of one to one counselling which enables clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. A donation is encouraged. Befriending & Mums In Mind Social support provided in the community by volunteers for people who feel lonely and isolated and who may find the prospect of resuming social activities daunting. Mums in Mind provide befriending for pregnant women and new mothers who are finding life difficult.
Coventry & Warwickshire
Improving Access to Psychological Therapies IAPT provides a choice of appropriate psychological interventions for people who are feeling stressed, anxious, low in mood or depressed. To access this service, please call: 024 7667 1090.
Rugby Services Wellbeing Hub
An open access drop-in at Cromwell Road Tuesday 1pm-4pm and Saturday 10am-1pm offering information or support related to mental health or wellbeing. Includes a café with free internet access. Booked 1:1 appointments are available for information & support. For more information call 01788 544105.
Dementia Befriending Service
A service which aims to reduce the loneliness and isolation of people living with early stage dementia, by enabling and supporting them to access a range of community services with a befriender. For more information call 01788 544105.
Children & young people’s services
We provide a range of services for children & young people across Coventry & Warwickshire. These include: therapeutic groups and courses, counselling, buddying, services for Looked After and adopted children and young people and their parents/carers.
